| As the Yankees and Red Sox battle it out for first place in the AL East, guess who is in first place? The Orioles!!! I know it is still April but the O's are lookin' good so far. If their pitching holds up(big if) this could be the biggest upset in baseball history. |

Just heard the band The Rasmus and they are awesome!!! Where have I been?? And why haven't I heard them before? Check them out with an audio clip called First Day of My Life Their new CD "Dead Letters" was released on April 5th and they are currently touring In France and then to the UK, to be followed by Spain, Germany and Switzerland. |

Ok so tonight was a real shocker on American Idol. Everyone thought the show was going to quickly eliminate "the kids"(the red-head John Stevens, the flower girl Jasmine Trias and the georgia peach Diana DeGarmo); and, become a battle of the Divas(Jennifer Hudson, LaToya London, and Fantasia). But wait!!!! America voted and the Divas were all in the bottom three tonight!!! And all the kids were safe along with George Huff. And it was Jennifer that got the boot. OK, so I am really too much into this American Idol show, but it was good TV tonight. Should even get more interesting as the weeks go by. |

OK so I admit it - I am a big American Idol fan - totally hooked on the show and have been for all three seasons. Loved Kelly from the beginning of Season One and liked both Carmen and Clay last year. This season has been a little strange. I was first drawn to Elizabeth LeTendre and have since her departure liked Jasmine Trias. But no one from this season has really captured my attention as in the prior seasons. Maybe someone will step forward in the next couple of weeks and make me feel like I really want to power-dial vote to keep them singing the following week. We shall see. Well, I finally decided to start a Blog. So this is my first entry into my first Blog. Gee, I feel like a virgin for the very first time. Yes, I like Madonna. My main likes are music and sports - won't get much into politics, religion or philosophy. Sorry. Music likes are rock and pop, with a little edge. Favorite sports teams are those in and around Washington, D.C. I live in Northern Virginia and went to both American University and the University of Maryland(Go Terps!!!!) |
